We may decline, edit, shorten, or remove any submission for any reason, including length, clarity, or because it doesn't fit the spirit of the show. We are not obligated to play any request or read any dedication.
By submitting a request, dedication, message, or other content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, edit, broadcast, reproduce, and share that content on the air, on this site, and on the show's social media. You keep ownership of what you wrote — you're just letting us use it. Don't submit anything you don't have the right to share.
If you'd like your request to be read anonymously, just say so in the message field and we'll honor that.
The Doo Wop Stop name, logo, page designs, written content, photos, audio clips, and curated lists are owned by us or the artists, stations, and contributors we work with. You may enjoy the site, link to it, and share individual pages with friends. Please don't copy, republish, scrape, or sell our content without written permission.
Doo-wop song titles, artist names, label names, and historical photos are the property of their respective owners and are referenced here for informational and fan purposes.
This site links out to radio stations, gig listings, social pages, and other doo-wop resources. We don't control those sites, we don't endorse everything on them, and we're not responsible for their content, accuracy, or privacy practices. Once you click out, you're on their turf.
We do our best to keep show schedules, station listings, and event information up to date. Things change — stations get bought, gigs get rescheduled, links go stale. Please confirm details with the station or venue before making plans, and let us know at the contact address above if you spot something that needs fixing.
The site is provided "as is" and "as available." We don't promise that the site will always be available, error-free, secure, or that the information on it is complete or current. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of this site — including missed gigs, missed broadcasts, lost data, or anything similar. If we are found liable for anything, our total liability will be limited to one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100).
You agree to defend and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) that arise from content you submit, your use of the site, or your violation of these Terms.
We may suspend or block access to the site, or refuse to play requests from any sender, at any time and for any reason — particularly if these Terms are being violated. The sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, license to submissions, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law) will survive any termination.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the effective date at the top. If the changes are significant, we'll post a note on the homepage. Continuing to use the site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute that can't be worked out informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New York, and you and we agree to that jurisdiction.
If a court decides any part of these Terms is unenforceable, that part will be limited or removed to the smallest extent necessary, and the rest will remain in effect.
